Where Do You Entertain?

I entertain in Portland, Oregon; including Beaverton, Bethany, Hillsboro, Tigard, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Tualatin, Clackamas, Oregon City, and Aloha. I do travel to surrounding areas, including Gresham, Vancouver and Camas, Washington. Occasionally travel fees may apply when travel time meets/exceeds 45 minutes from my location in 97006.

What age ranges are your services for?

Face painting and balloons are loved by all ages! After ten years of entertaining, I can truly say this is absolutely true! Adults love face painting and get excited for it just as much as kids do!

Miss J's magic shows are best suited to ages 3-9.

Miss J's Science Bubble Show is best suited for ages 4-8.

Due to safety concerns, all parents and guardians should be aware that chewing on a balloon can present a choking hazard and that infants and small children should be carefully considered before presented with one. In addition, face paints are intended for children 3 years and older. While younger children may enjoy face painting, their skin and immunity is still developing thus making face painting not suitable for under the age of 3. Miss J paints anyone happy and willing to sit for it, but the products themselves say they are intended for children 3 years and above.

Can you make face paint designs or balloons to fit our theme?

Yes! I'd love to make sure I have designs for your party's theme! After years of experience, and hundreds of parties, there's rarely a theme I haven't done before!

Are you a clown?

No, I am not a clown. I dress in colorful dresses and often wear balloons in my hair! But, I do not sport a red nose or clown make-up.

How do I book you?

Contact me to check that your date is available. You can call or text: 971-278-0854, or email MissJ@PortlandFacePainting.com to do so!

To book, I will also ask for your full name, e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number for the day of the event (this is in case of emergencies or questions about finding the party location).

Once you're ready to book, I'll send an invoice to your e-mail. This invoice acts as confirmation and contract: it will have the party details we've discussed and a payment link. Payment in full is due within 48 hours to secure your event on my calendar. 

If you decide to cancel later on, then if your event is still more than 14 days away you'll be refunded 50% of your event fee. If it is 14 days or closer to your event, then we do not offer refunds, but your fee is transferrable and may be applied towards another event within the next 12 months (minus a $75 administration fee).
